Coach Service & Travel
We run a coach service to bring pupils in to school and to take them home again in the afternoon.
All coaches are scheduled to arrive at school by 8.20am and depart in the afternoon at 4.10pm.
There are currently six coach routes covering the following areas:
- Caterham
- Smallfield, Horley & Charlwood
- Holmwood & Dorking
- Tadworth
- Belmont & Kingswood
- Chipstead

This is a private coach service for the use of Dunottar School only and members of the public cannot, and do not, use the service.
Late Coaches
For those pupils who travel by coach but wish to attend after school clubs or fixtures, we operate a late coach service on certain routes, which leave school at 5.30pm. Late coaches run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Please download the document below for further information.
Cycling to School
The school benefits from the surroundings of a countryside setting with all the convenience and accessibility of a town centre school, making walking and cycling to school easy for local pupils. Within the school grounds, pupils and staff who cycle to school have access to a secure bike storage facility.
Car Sharing
Parents can also use our car sharing app, HomeRun, which allows them to securely find and arrange car pools with other families at the school. The HomeRun App supports our goals of becoming a greener school, reducing our carbon footprint, and delivering to our parent’s and pupil’s transport requirements.
