Why I chose Dunottar Sixth Form

I decided to stay at Dunottar for Sixth Form as the small class sizes were very important to me. They allow teachers to get to know individual students and, in some cases, even adapt the syllabus taught to individuals. All teachers are willing to help to ensure that every student will be successful during their time at Dunottar and after they leave.

Experiences I have had during my time in the Sixth Form

Dunottar provides students with lots of advice for their future decisions including attending university / apprenticeships fairs and guest speakers. Additionally, students are encouraged to take the lead in school events to develop crucial skills including taking assemblies, helping in younger year groups and running charity events.

Apprenticeship

Alongside my university offers, I received an offer of an apprenticeship at Ernst & Young, one of the top four accountancy firms in the UK. It gives me the chance to study and work at their London office within their tax division. This opportunity will lead me to become a chartered accountant within the next four years and the guarantee of further employment whilst gaining valuable industry experience.
