Why I chose Dunottar Sixth Form

Having already attended Dunottar for the past 5 years, it was an easy decision to stay for Sixth Form. This was for many reasons including the strong sense of community which feels like a family, the excellent teachers, small class sizes which nurture debate and individual attention. Moreover, Dunottar provides outstanding resources from the Sixth Form Centre to the teachers. The Sixth Form provides opportunities and a unique environment which cannot be replicated anywhere else.

Experiences I have had during my time in the Sixth Form

I’ve had many opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge beyond my A-levels as seen with my Sports Leaders Qualification and the trip to Berlin which was a captivating experience. I have also been able to organise and speak in assemblies which has helped me develop life skills and grow my confidence. Over the past two years in Sixth Form I have created some of the best memories with friends and teachers.

Further Education

I will be going to Durham University to study Sociology.
