Summer Soirée – Saturday 15 June. The PTA were excited to bring the Dunottar School community together for this year’s Summer Soirée on our beautiful school grounds.
Club Tropicana! the PTA social event on Saturday 16th March was a fully themed night that celebrated all the great music from the 80’s complete with a fabulous George Michael tribute act. Matt King sang all the popular Wham! songs as well as George’s hits and got everyone dancing. Lucy’s Tiki Bar served Mojitos and Cuba Libres and a photo booth, complete with trees, flamingos, monkeys and various bits of fun paraphernalia added to the entertainment with everyone having a playful picture taken. The event raised nearly £700 for the Wellbeing Area which is fantastic!
The PTA encourages members of staff to put forward requests for small grant funding for items to support the learning, development and wellbeing of pupils. Applications can be made via email to Mrs Rhona Stringer, Deputy Head, Operations
The PTA also has an ongoing project with the aim of refurbishing an area of the school to become a Wellbeing Hub for pupils. This project is in the early stages and we look forward to sharing updates in due course.
The PTA collects donations of dry food goods for Loveworks food bank. There is a hamper in school reception where parents or pupils can put donations at any time and donations are collected on the 1st of every month. Keep your eye on social media for the Loveworks donations list and follow the PTA pages.
