Dunottar Named in Top 100 Cricket Schools for Fourth Year

Dunottar School is proud to announce that it has been included in The Cricketer Schools Guide 2023 for the fourth year running.

The Cricketer Schools Guide features the top 100 senior, the top 50 prep/junior and the top 20 all-girls schools selected by The Cricketer’s judging panel in a bumper 156-page supplement. The successful schools were finalised after an exhaustive selection process that saw a huge number of schools submit entries for inclusion in the guide. Entries were judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching.

Director of cricket, Mr Jack Myers said, “It is absolutely brilliant to be picked as one of the Top 100 cricketing schools in the UK. The school has developed its co-educational programme over the last 6 years to provide an extensive programme of both training and competition which facilitated over 125 matches last summer for the boys and girls of Dunottar School.  We have had recent success in both indoor and outdoor county cups and have a very exciting tour of South Africa in 2023 coming up. It is a great time to be a cricketer at Dunottar!” 

The guide will be on sale in mid-November with a digital version available at the beginning of December.
