The event, which was organised by Love Dunottar PTA, was held in the entrance foyer, adjoining rooms and grounds of the Victorian mansion house.
Carol singers created a festive atmosphere as the visitors arrived. Eager shoppers were offered mulled wine, mince pies and barbecued food. There was an array of busy stalls selling a range of presents from pottery to paintings. Children also bought presents from a ‘no parents allowed’ room, and there was a popular raffle for Christmas hampers.
Rowena Cole, Head teacher of Dunottar School, said: “The PTA do an incredible job in supporting the school, and this event was no exception. It was wonderful to see so many people from our community enjoying the evening and getting into the Christmas spirit.”
